Concert: Celebration of Ukrainian Culture

A wonderful concert to raise money for the people of Ukraine and to give a warm Yorkshire welcome to those who have arrived in our town.

Over 2 and a half hours of amazing Ukrainian dancing, singing, and music.

The event will include:

Hoverla: High energy Ukrainian Cossack Dancers

Yurek Karmasyn: An acoustic performance singing traditional Ukrainian songs

Zolota Kalyna: Huddersfield's very own Ukrainian dance troupe performing traditional folk dancers

Frelach Band: Featuring violinist, celloist, clarinettist, and accordionist; playing Ukrainian melodies

Svitoch: Ukrainian Chamber Choir singing traditional Ukrainian songs

Gledholt Male Voice Choir: Singing hymns and songs from opera

Vocal Expressions Ladies Choir: Singing songs of peace and humanity.

Loyd Buck: Pianist playng an elegy composed by Ukrainian composer Bortkiewicz
